The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

All works are checked inside the frame. The paper is deckled and in good condition. The lithograph colour is vibrant. It is our opinion that the works are in overall good condition.

(1) There are pinpoint brown speckles on the bottom edge of the paper, and handling marks in the bottom left and top right. There is a small mark made by red ballpoint in the bottom right corner. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(2) There is a crease from a previously folded top right edge of the paper, and beneath it a pencil marking “2”. There is a negligible spot of paint loss in the top of the print, only visible by close inspection. The paper is darkened on the extreme top edges.

(3) There are pinpoint brown, black and red speckles in the margins, and faint handling marks along the outer edge of the paper. There is a small pencil marking in the extreme right corner. The paper is darkened on the top and right edges.

(4) There are slight creases and tears alongside the top edge of the paper. There is a small pencil marking in the right corner, and a small tear and pencil marking in the bottom right margin. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(5) There is a pencil marking “6” and a small dark brown stain in the top right margin, and faint handling marks alongside the bottom right edge of the paper. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(6) There are minor creases alongside the top and bottom edges of the paper, and a creased indent line on the outer left edge. There are faint abrasion lines throughout black sections of the print.

(7) There are pinpoint light brown speckles alongside the right edge of the paper and handling marks on the middle of the right edge. There are minor grey markings in the bottom margin. The paper has a slightly darkened top edge. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(8) There are faint handling marks in the bottom left and right edges of the paper, and slightly darkened edges in the top right and bottom left. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(9) There is a negligible tear to the extreme top edge of the paper. There are pinpoint speckles scattered on the bottom edge, and handling marks along the top right edge of the paper. There is a small mark made by red ballpoint in the bottom right extreme of the paper. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.

(10) There are small creases along the top edge of the paper, and brown speckles along the bottom margin. The right side of the paper is darkened on the edge. All occur on the margins and do not affect the lithograph print.
