The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the works are in overall good condition. These were inspected within the frames and therefore the sides and reverses could not be checked. When examined under UV light, no apparent retouching shows.

ii) Le Nuage: Faint undulation across the extreme left and right edges, consistent with the mounting method. Faint pinpoint foxing dots are observed intermittently across the surface. Tiny yellowish stain to the lower extreme right corner.

(iii) Le propagation-p: A pinpoint foxing dot to the upper left of the sheet. Negligible undulation.
