It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The canvas is taut and the paint layer is stable. Negligible abrasions and dirt marks are intermittent to the extreme edges of the work. Circular impression marks to the upper left quadrant, presumably part of the artist's working process and visible only under raking light. When examined under UV light, no apparent retouching shows.
