The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition and the collage elements appear to adhere well to their underlying support. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme lower corners. There is some staining to the collage in the upper right corner, in line with the artist's working method. There is a pinpoint paint loss to the upper right vertical turnover edge. There is a minor scuff to the extreme right vertical edge. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, primarily to the right extreme vertical edge and lower horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of inpainting. It is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
