The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
(i) The sheet is loose. There are soft creases in places to the edges of the sheet, presumably in keeping with the artist’s chosen medium.
(Ii) Not examined out of frame. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to its underlying support, and all elements adhere well to its underlying support. The horizontal edges are uneven. There is minor skinning to the horizontal edges, in keeping with the artist’s working methods. The sheet undulates slightly. There are handling marks in places, in keeping its the artists working method.
Subject to the foregoing, the works appear to be in generally good condition.
