The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
(i) The work is structurally sound and all elements appear to be present. There is minor discolouration to the glass, all in keeping with the artist’s chosen medium.
(ii) The work is structurally sound and all elements appear to be present. There is minor wear and loose threads to the socks. There is a minor watermark to the upper right corner of the support. All presumably in keeping with the found nature of the artist’s chosen medium.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
