The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work has been inspected inside the frame. The canvas is taut and the colour is fresh. Expressive brushstrokes are visible on impasto areas. Spots of mold appeared mainly on the white impasto areas as well as a faint hairline crack and a linear accretion. When examined under UV light, no apparent retouching has shown. It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
