Details
The deity is seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular plinth draped with a long cloth centred with a flower head, the front of the base incised with nine characters reading Da Qing Qianlong Gengyin nian jing zao, that may be translated as 'made during the Gengyin year of the Qianlong reign under the Great Qing'. The hands are held in dhyana mudra and the figure wears robes draped over the left shoulder. The hair is pulled up into an elaborate coiffure behind a five-leafed tiara.
