The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Executed on three sheets of paper and fully laid down on a backing sheet. There is uneven discolouration to the paper. There are scattered orange stains and scattered mould, mainly in the centre of the sheet. There are some small brown stains on the right side of the paper. There is cockling to the paper and some creases to the right and lower edges of the sheet. There is a tear in the centre of the sheet, and there are some further tears and minor paper losses along the edges of the sheet. The media have faded in some places and remain clear in others.
