The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is not laid down but is tipped in around the edges to a supporting sheet of paper, which in turn is hinged onto a non-acidic bottom mount, but with an acidic topmount which we would advise removing. There are a few scattered foxmarks to the sheet and some slight surface dirt in places, but the medium is fresh and strong and the sheet reads well.
