The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The integrity of the drawing and the pigments is well preserved overall, though there is some thinness to the darker tones. The examination under UV light reveals some scattered retouching to the figures, but overall the picture presents well.
