This three-piece oak panel is even and remains stable. In raking light, selective, scattered spots of restoration are visible in the sky and along the horizontal panel joins. The artist's delicate rendering of the brickwork and detailed elements of the landscape remain highly appreciable. Ultraviolet examination confirms the above and reveals further scattered restoration in the water as well as along the panel edges, associated with frame wear.
