Examination under UV light reveals a repaired damage to woman’s right shoulder, two repaired damages to the background in the upper left quadrant, retouching to the sitter’s forehead, and small retouching to the table and near the edges. UV light examination is partly impaired by a thick cloudy varnish. The paint layer is stable.
