The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas has been relined and is providing a sound support for the picture. There is a fine pattern of craquelure to the paint surface, and a slightly aged varnish. 
The examination under UV light shows a few very minor spots of retouching to the figures, with some more concentrated areas in the background and in the darker tones. Overall the picture presents extremely well and is in good condition.
