The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With minor dents and scratches consistent with age and handling. Very minor wear to the gilding. The angel wings possibly later and with the tips of three feathers lacking. An element of the central finial and three of the four Instruments of the Passion held by the angels lacking. Several pins securing the parts of the stem lacking. The foot with a repair to the front edge and slightly sunken so that the ciborium tilts back slightly. Overall good condition.
