The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is supported with a glue lining. In visible light, the varnish is clear and a slight craquelure is visible in a few places. There is scuffing along the right and left edges due to frame contact. Under ultraviolet light, a few touches fluoresce on the lilies and the other white flowers. Some small retouches are seen on the pear at left and over a 1 inch area at lower left in the background as well as a few other places. The painting presents well and may be displayed as is.
