Lot Essay

The present bronze was formerly part of the collection of David Lascelles, 8th Earl of Harewood, at Harewood House, the great Adam-designed country house in West Yorkshire. Lord Harewood is a great-grandson of King George V, a second cousin of King Charles III, and his godmother was Queen Elizabeth II.
