The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas appears to be unlined. The paint is stable on the support. Under natural light, the varnish is clear and the paint surface appears to be intact. Under ultraviolet light, a few lines of retouching fluoresce on the hair of the figure at left, along with a 1 inch square on the edge of her proper left sleeve. The painting is in ready to display condition.
