Provenance
With Bach, 9 rue de Châteaudun, Paris, 5 April, 1897 (3500 Fr).
Collection Charles Gillot (1853-1903), Paris and recorded in the inventory of Charles Gillot of 1 April, 1897 as: ‘statue pierre sainte XVème siècle’ and recorded as no. 20 in the inventory done after his death on 11 April, 1903 (in the Dining Room).
And by descent to Louise-Marcelle Gillot-Seure (1884-1958), Paris and sold Christie’s, Paris, 4-5 March, 2008, lot 209.
