The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Excellent condition overall, the gilding barely rubbed. There is a slightly bugle to the central panel. Some minor, small flaking to enamel throughout. The ormolu frames with rubbing and surface dirt to the gilt surfaces. The velvet lined oak backing later, as stated. The panels not examined out of frame.
