The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The panel is approximately ¹⁄₄ inch and is supported on the reverse with a cradle. Under natural light, the varnish is slightly yellowed and some slight scuffing is visible at the extreme edges due to frame contact. A few, minute, vertically-oriented cracks are visible at upper left with some associated losses. Under ultraviolet light, strengthening is visible to a vertica line, eight inches from the left edge and a ¹⁄₂ inch vertical line at lower left. There is a 3 inch veritcal crack visible at upper right. The painting could be displayed as is, but would likely improve with a sensitive cleaning.
