The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In excellent condition overall. Some minor tarnishing overall to the silver. The cross would look spectacular with a thorough silver polishing. The carved cross is also in excellent condition. It has been well protected, like the silver surround, over the centuries in the wooden case. The carving is in nearly perfect condition and there do not appear to be any breaks, losses or repairs. The measurements of the carved cross are 5 3/4 in. high, with an additional 3 1/2 in. hidden by silver mounts.
