The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In well maintained condition. With the expected nicks, 'nibbles' and surface abrasions consistent with age. Clearly originally part of a larger architectural ensemble. One with tips of fingers and thumbs to both hands lacking, the tip to one wing missing, some chips to his toe, and his proper left leg missing from the ankle down. Some elements to the scrolled anthemion chipped and now with a metal replacement to the center of the florette at the base. The other with tips of fingers and thumb missing from proper left hand, the proper right foot missing from the ankle down, and the tips of the wings slightly rubbed. Possible central element to the florette missing. With some scattered rust stains, and some loss of definition due to weathering. Some decorative elements now lacking. With metal stays screwed to the reverse and mounted on later marbleized bases. The marble with natural inclusions and small 'nibbles' and chips to edges.
