This painting is in good condition. The uncradled panel is approximately ¹⁄₄ inch thick and exhibits beveling on the left and right edges. The panel is in plane and the paint is stable on the support. Under natural light, the varnish is clear and scuffing is visible in places at the extreme edges due to frame contact. A central, vertical panel join is just slightly visible in the upper background. Under ultraviolet light, some of the darker shadows of the grape leaves above the table fluoresces slightly, though this may be the pigment itself rather than strengthening. The painting presents well and may be displayed as is.
