The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- without watermark.
- with faint vertical wiping marks still printing on the pigs at right and on the large gable at upper right, indicative of a Meder b-c impression.
- with 2-3 mm. margins on all sides
- a soft fold along the upper sheet edge where previously mounted.
- two tiny, skilfully repaired tears or splits at the upper sheet edge, at left and right, respectively.
- a flattened horizontal central fold, mostly visible verso, broken through in a small area at right above the pig's back, with an old, very skilful repair.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
