The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the description in the catalogue:
- trimmed to the borderline.
- washed and pressed.
- with the usual horizontal central crease, flattened and mostly visible verso.
- a couple of tiny, skilfully repaired paper splits along the central fold.
- the sheet slightly grey, with ingrained dust.
- a plugged pinhole at lower left, another on the horse's head
- a thin layer of paper fibres along the extreme sheet edges verso, remains of old hinges at the left sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
