The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with thread margins, trimmed on the platemark in places.
- the sheet slightly toned.
- a very skilfully repaired tear across the upper left sheet corner, with an associated, tiny made-up paper loss (visible only under magnification).
- a couple of tiny thin spots at the upper left sheet edge.
- some small old paper hinges at the sheet edges in places verso.
- the ink inscriptions by Debois and Mariette verso very faintly showing through in places recto (very unobtrusive and mostly visible in transmitting light.)
Otherwise as described and generally in very good condition.
