The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed to or just inside the borderline.
- lacking the tips of the lower corners and a small area at the lower right sheet edge, the corners backed and made up in pen and ink.
- a 50 mm. very skilufully repaired tear at the lower right sheet edge, various shorter tears and nicks at the sheet edges, very skilfully repaired.
- a tiny rustspot above Echo's head and another one at the upper right corner.
- remains of old hinges at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
