In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed to or on the platemark on all sides, with inky plate edges in places.
- pale reddish staining on the horse's head at lower right, some similar, minor staining on the leg of the rider in the right middleground.
- a few other unobtrusive stains in places elsewhere.
- small traces of blue pigment on the horse's head at the left sheet edge at centre.
- a couple of short,skilfully repaired and made-up tears and small paper losses at the lower right sheet edge, the largest loss measuring circa 8 x 15 mm.
- a circa 20 mm. horizontal, repaired tear at the left sheet edge.
- a circa 10 mm. vertical tear at the upper sheet edge to the right.
- with the usual horizontal central fold, partially split and backed towards the left and right sheet edges.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
