The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed to or just outside the borderline.
- a tear at the tip of the lower left corner.
- the sheet stuck down to a support sheet at the upper corners, with associated short tears.
- some minor creases at the sheet corners, with a vertical central drying crease
- the sheet slightly toned, with a few tiny stains and surface dirt.
- a small patch of backing paper at the left sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
