The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with small to narrow margins.
- a horizontal drying crease, partially split at left and right and repaired.
- lacking the tip of the lower right corner and tiny areas along the margins in places, all skilfully made up and backed with paper.
- some handling creases and some printer's creases.
- a few pale stains and pinpoint foxmarks in places, occasional surface dirt.
- hinged with paper tape at the upper sheet edge verso.
