The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a 7 mm. margin above, a 12 mm. margin below, narrow to thread margins elsewhere.
- a short, repaired forked paper split on Jesus's nose, with minor surface loss, another smaller surface loss at the centre right sheet edge.
- some pinpoint foxmarks and rustmarks in places.
- an irregular diagonal tear at the upper left sheet edge, skilfully repaired.
- a few other, minor and shorter tears and splits skilfully repaired above and below the aforementioned tear, a few other repaired nicks at the edges.
- a flattened vertical crease along the left sheet edge.
- remains of old paper hinges at the lower corners verso.
