The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the sheet laid onto an 18th century laid paper with watermark Bunch of Grapes (the Spencer album sheet).
- horizontal central fold, probably repaired in places (the sheet backed).
- a couple of tiny holes with associated skinning.
- a few occasional, tiny, pale spots in places.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
