The Wise and Foolish Virgins

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed on or just inside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline and text below.
- some pale time staining along the sheet edges.
- some other, minor stains, surface dirt and a few foxmarks in places.
- old paper hinges at the upper sheet corners verso.
- a few very minor thin spots in places.

Title page:
- a tiny scuff and paper split at centre left.


Plate 1:
- a small wormhole at lower left.
- two small unprinted areas in the skirt of the woman at lower right.
- a small brown stain at upper centre.

Plate 7:
- a 2 x 2 mm. rustmark just above the right arm of the dancing virgin at upper right.

Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
