The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

H. 39:
- trimmed on or just outside the platemark
- a couple of minor printer's creases at upper right corner.
- a small trace of pale blue pigment at right outside the subject.

H. 89:
- with wide margins
- two paper hinges verso.

H. 97:
- trimmed on or just outside the platemark
- some minor staining at the left sheet corners.
- some remains of an old backing sheet and some paper hinges verso

H. 100:
- trimmed on or just outside the platemark
- generally in good condition.

All otherwise as described in the catalogue and generally in good condition.
