The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with small margins.
- some thin spots at the corners, with associated small and skilfull repairs at the upper corners, and soft creases.
- a couple of short nicks at upper centre and the upper left sheet edge.
- a few tiny plugged holes.
- some very pale stains in places, mostly visible in backlight.
- remains of old hinges and adhesive in places verso.

B. 34
- with wide margins.
- minor pinpoint foxmarks in the margins.
- a diagonal flattened fold at the upper right sheet edge (approx. 145 mm.), a much shorter one at the lower right sheet edge.
-remains of old hinges at the upper and left sheet edges verso.
