The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with small margins.
- some very pale stains and minor pinpoint foxmarks, mostly in the margins and verso.
- a thin spot on the ornamental border at left.
- a couple of pinholes at left, visible in backlight.
- with the usual vertical drying crease.
- a soft crease at the left sheet edge.
- hinged at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
