The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- three small repaired patches rectoin the sky.
- two horizontal folds, both partially broken, the central fold repaired at left.
- an unobtrusive vertical fold mostly visible in raking light.
- a few tiny stitching holes in the sky at centre, two other pinholes at the upper left corner.
- the sheet toned and with some staining.
- the sheet inscribed with the draft of a poem in Italian, in a 17th century hand, in sepia ink verso.
- some pencil inscriptions verso.
- remains of old paper hinges verso.
