The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed on or just inside the platemark on all sides.
- a tiny repaired hole on her right knee, another below the ramparts, and one above her right foot.
- a few other tiny surface losses (insect damage?) in some blank areas in the lower part of the sheet.
- a pinpoint foxmark in the mountains at left.
- some pale brown staining along the sheet edges.
