The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the description in the catalogue:
- with margins, on a square sheet.
- a tiny, pinpoint-size rustmark on the ruff at left.
- with very sharp platemark, breaking the paper surface in places (but not splitting the sheet)
- slightly dusty in the margins.
- remains of old paper hinges and various inscriptions in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and generally in very good condition.
