The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed inside the platemark but outside the borderline or just to the borderline in places at upper and lower left.
- trimmed underneath the text below.
- a circa 40 mm. tear at the lower sheet edge, skilfully repaired.
- a small repair, possibly a paper loss, at lower centre, below the text.
- the lower left sheet corner skilfully repaired, with some touches of pen and ink to the borderlines.
- some minor staining mostly at the lower edge of the sheet.
- a horizontal central fold, mostly visible verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
