The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with a very skilfully made-up 7 mm. blank border above.
- two tiny and unobtrusive un-inked hairlines at upper right.
- two flattened horizontal folds across the upper image, another across the text border, all mostly visible versoand in raking light.
- the sheet edges versobacked with paper.
- an indistinct oval collector's stamp in the lower right corner verso.
