The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed inside the platemark below, fractionally trimmed inside the subject on three sides, and partially remargined on three sides (approx. 2-4 mm. at left, 1 mm. above and at right), with touches of pen and ink, mainly at the left sheet edge.
- the extreme tip of the upper right corner made up in pen and ink, another tiny repair below.
- a few tiny nicks and losses along the lower sheet edge, some repaired.
- a few tiny touches of brown pigment in places, mainly on the stage and trunk at lower right.
- with horizontal and vertical flattened folds, mainly visible verso.
- hinged at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
