The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed inside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the subject on three sides.
- trimmed just underneath the text below.
- a small repaired area with associated thin spot in the text border at lower left, just touching the large letter R.
- a tiny backed tear and hole (wormhole?) in the text border at lower right.
- a horizontal central fold only visible verso.
- some minor stains verso.
Otherwise as described, the subject in very good condition.
