The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with small margins.
- tiny ink loss on the cannon on the ground.
- two short and unobtrusive printer's creases (one on the subject and one on the tablet, mostly visible verso).
- a tiny paper loss at tip of the upper left corner (away from the platemark).
- lacking the tip of the upper right corner, backed (away from the platemark).
- a few short nicks at the left sheet edge.
- remains of old hinges and glue at the sheet edges verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
