Unidentified, initials FC or FE (?) in pencil verso (not in Lugt).
Ivan Iraklievitch Kuriss (d. circa 1900), Odessa (Lugt 2722).
John Malcolm (1805-1893), Poltalloch, Scotland, and London (without mark; see Lugt 1489); then by descent to his son, Col. John Wingfield Malcolm (d. 1902).
British Museum, London (Lugt 1780); acquired from the above in September 1895 as part of the Malcolm Collection; de-accessioned and with their duplicate stamp (Lugt 305); possibly C. G. Boerner, Leipzig, 3-4 May 1927, lot 124.
With Tomas Harris (1908-1964), London (Lugt 4921); then by descent to his sisters Enriqueta Frankfort, Violetta Harris and Conchita Wolff.
