The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- another similar loss at the lower sheet edge at centre, restored and retouched with pen and ink.
- with the usual horizontal drying crease, mostly visible in raking light.
- some soft creasing at the corners.
- an unidentified inscription Gn s 51 [?] in brown ink verso.
- remains of old hinges verso.
- several inscriptions in pencil verso.
- some offsetting from another print verso.
