The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- tiny amounts of surface dirt on Saturn's face and between his leg, a tiny and unobtrusive pinpoint foxmark on his leg.
- remains of old paper hinges at the upper sheet edge verso, tiny remains of glue and paper fibres at the lower left sheet edge verso (occasionally showing through recto in a transmitting light).
