拍品专文

Beatrizet presents the Annunciation in an articulated, pattern-like interior. The print differs slightly from the painted version by Marcello Venusti in the sacristy of San Giovanni in Laterano, Rome. The original composition by Michelangelo, preserved at the Uffizi, Florence (inv. no. 229F) lacks the background architecture entirely.
