The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the watermark Foolscap with five-pointed Collar corresponds to Hinterding B-a-a , as called for in New Hollstein for this state.
- trimmed to or on the platemark, with thread margins in places.
- the left sheet edge slighly uneven and with tiny, backed paper losses at the extreme edge outside the subject, mainly at the lower left.
- a flattened horizontal central fold, mostly visible verso, slightly broken at the left sheet edge, backed with a strip of laid paper.
- a flattened vertical fold along the upper right side of the sheet.
- a few very minor thin spots.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
